Afragola. A member of parliament and several candidates and political figures showed up this morning at the Carabinieri of Afragola, a town to vote tomorrow and Sunday in the administrative elections, to report a series of attacks suffered last night in the city: they are Iolanda Di Stasio, a member of parliament for the Five Star Movement, who reported to the military an attack against the head of the area north of NAPLES of Europa Verde, Salvatore Iavarone.
Another victim of an attack was also the secretary of the Democratic Party, Francesco Zanfardino, who was allegedly chased by some people and whose car tire was slashed. Everything happened, a note reports, during the “Night of Legality”, promoted by the center-left candidate for mayor of Afragola, Antonio Iazzetta, who, in the final rally, had announced the presence of the billboards to avoid the usual wild posters that have characterized the electoral campaign.
"The perpetrators of the attacks - writes Antonio Iazzetta in a note - were a group of 'bill-posters' busy putting up posters. A complaint was filed with the Carabinieri of Afragola about the incidents, which occurred in various parts of the city".
Iazzetta, who participated in the 'Night of Legality' together with other activists and candidates and who reports having been present at the verbal attack on Iavarone, in recent days delivered a dossier to the Prefect of NAPLES in which he denounced the illegal methods with which the electoral campaign was conducted, asking for greater control by the police.
