Anticipated by the publication of the live video of “Leisure" comes out "Live Global Village”, the mini-live of the Garnet registered at the spaces of the Global Village of Rome, where the band presented two of the songs that will be part of their second album, “Songs for young adults".

"The songs we chose for this live are “Il tempo libero” and “Di nuovo”. We have sewn a new dress on both songs, specific for the live performance that makes them different from the studio versions, with intros that are almost in contrast to what the original song offers. We wanted to do this both because we always like to change the cards on the table, even when things seem defined, and to more plastically restore the live dimension that we missed so much and then, again, for our fans, to tell them that we are playing again and that they will soon be able to see us live again, physically!".

Two songs at opposite ends of the spectrum, “Il tempo libero” and “Di nuovo” propose the two souls of Granato, one more oriented towards a bold and danceable new wave, the other more towards dark, slow and introspective territories.

The idea of recording these two songs live was born from the band's frustration with the closures of venues due to anti-Covid restrictions.

The live, as anticipated, was recorded at the Villaggio Globale in Rome, with Francesco Bianco on electronics, guitar and vocals and Alessandro Cicala on guitar and electronics (accompanied, for the occasion, by Giuliano Ferrari on drums on “Il tempo libero”). The mix and mastering were handled by Dario Giuffrida who, together with Granato, is also the author of the songs on “Canzoni per giovani adulti”.

Coming out on Aventino Music, “Il tempo libero” and “Di nuovo” are two of the songs that will be included in the band’s second album, “Canzoni per giovani adulti”, preceded by the singles “La camera di Viola” and “La giostra”.
