The 10th section of the Naples review court, accepting the thesis of the lawyer Vittorio Fucci, annulled the arrests of Mario Romano and Pasquale Crisci, respectively of San Felice a Cancello and Arienzo, and released them from prison.

Romano and Crisci were considered leading figures in drug control and in the management of drug dealing areas in the lower Caserta area. Furthermore, investigations show that the two were supporting actors for the boss Gennaro Morgillo. Romano appears to be the right-hand man, as well as nephew, of Gennaro Morgillo, while Crisci was his contact in Arienzo.

As you may recall, the precautionary custody of Romano and Crisci, carried out a few days ago, by order of the investigating judge of Santa Maria Capua Vetere, concerned an infinite number of charges of possession and aggravated dealing of narcotic substances, through the management of dealing between the Valle Caudina and the Valle di Suessola.

The investigations were supported by thousands and thousands of wiretaps and environmental interceptions captured between 2018 and 2019. Furthermore, the investigators' objections were strengthened by the statements of some defendants, who decided to collaborate with justice.

The documents showed how Romano, nephew of the boss Morgillo, had a leading role in drug management between Valle Caudina and Valle di Suessola, and how Crisci, with Morgillo's approval, independently managed the Arienzo drug dealing area, of which he was the head. The defense of the two produced a series of documents and defense investigations to dismantle the prosecution's case and the precautionary custody order. The Review Court, at the end of the discussion held yesterday morning, released Mario Romano and Pasquale Crisci, accepting the appeal of the lawyer Vittorio Fucci.
