Gradually, but steadily, the Azores anticyclone is aiming to completely conquer our country. Some more rain is expected in Sardinia, Sicily, and the Reggio Calabria area.
Only some sectors are still affected by unstable circulation. Mattia Gussoni, meteorologist of the site www.iLMeteo.it warns that during the weekend the weather will be stable and mostly sunny in many regions.
A residual unstable circulation will influence some sectors where there will be precipitation, locally even thunderstorms. Saturday will be the turn of Sardinia to see rain first on the northern sectors moving to the southern ones, from the early hours of Sunday the precipitation will move towards Sicily and then also reach the province of Reggio Calabria.
In the rest of the South, however, the sun will struggle to shine with strength as cloud cover will be widespread (isolated showers in Puglia and Basilicata), as well as in Abruzzo and Molise, while no problems will arise for the remaining regions.
Temperatures will remain rather low at night and in the early morning with values below 10 C in most of the Center-North, only from next week will they tend to increase. During the day however the ample sunshine will favor a mild and pleasant climate with peaks of 18-20 C.
