The new edition of starts with a weekend entirely dedicated to chamber music. Musical Autumn - Sounds & Art Places since Archaeological Museum of Calatia, organized by the Anna Jervolino association and the Caserta Chamber Orchestra, under the artistic direction of Antonino Cascio.
Saturday October 2 at 19.30 pm Leonardo Quartet – composed of Sara Pastine and Fausto Cigarini on violins, Salvatore Borrelli on viola and Lorenzo Cosi on cello – will perform music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Ludwig van Beethoven.
Sunday October 3 at 11.30 am, instead, the Leonardo Quartet will perform pieces by Hugo Wolf, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Johannes Brahms.
Quartetto Leonardo was born in 2019 from the meeting of four young musicians, from different backgrounds, linked by a common passion for the quartet repertoire.
Its members study in prestigious European schools: Universität für Musik und Kunst in Vienna, Musikhochschule in Lugano and Hannover.
Winners of competitions, they have been part of important orchestras and ensembles such as the Orchestra Nazionale della Rai, the Orchestra Leonore, the Verbier Festival and Chamber Orchestra and EUYO.
The Quartet made its debut in April 2019 in Carpi, then performed in Florence at the Cappella dei Principi, performing Haydn's “The Seven Last Words of Christ on the Cross”.
