Rain, flooded roads, cancelled trains, traffic and chaos. Naples was hit by bad weather, as had already been forecast yesterday by the Civil protection which issued a yellow weather alert for the whole day yesterday.

"This morning's rain was enough to turn the Agnano basin into a huge swimming pool. Several motorists were trapped due to the copious water that invaded the roads.
