Napoli (without Spalletti) against Bologna to return to the top: the probable formation

Milan is calling, and Napoli must respond. For the first time since the start of this season, the Azzurri have only one result left to return to the top: victory. They will face Bologna, who last Saturday almost tripped up AC Milan, now top of the table, awaiting a response from Napoli.

Luciano Spalletti will rely on his starting eleven, unbeaten so far in the league with eight wins and one draw in nine games. The only absence? His own: sent off in Rome, his longtime assistant, Marco Domenichini, will take over the Azzurri bench.

In any case, there's little doubt about who will start: rotation has been postponed, but there could be some changes in Salerno on Sunday. Ospina will be the usual starter in goal, with a back four of Di Lorenzo and Mario Rui on the wings, Rrahmani and Koulibaly in the center (Manolas is out injured and hasn't even been called up). In midfield, Fabian Ruiz and Anguissa are unquestionable, followed by a three-man attack behind Victor Osimhen: Insigne will be joined by Zielinski (in contention with Elmas until the last minute) and Lozano (who continues to alternate with Politano).

Mihajlovic's Bologna, however, has several notable absentees: Arnautovic, who was injured in the match against Milan, was not even called up; Soriano and Soumaoro (who were dismissed on the final matchday) are also out. Binks, along with Medel and Theate, will be available at the back, with Schouten, Dominguez, and Svanberg in midfield; Orsolini returns from the starting lineup with Barrow.

THE PROBABLE FORMATIONS
NAPLES (4-2-3-1): Ospina; Di Lorenzo, Koulibaly, Rrahmani, Mario Rui; Anguissa, Fabian Ruiz; Lozano, Zielinski, Insigne; Osimhen.

BOLOGNA (3-5-1-1): Skorupski; Binks, Medel, Theate; De Silvestri, Dominguez, Schouten, Svanberg, Hickey; Orsolini; Barrow.

SPALLETTI'S CALLED UP
GOALKEEPERS: Marfella, Meret, Ospina
DEFENDERS: Di Lorenzo, Ghoulam, Juan Jesus, Koulibaly, Mario Rui, Rrahmani, Zanoli
MIDFIELDERS: Anguissa, Demme, Elmas, Fabian Ruiz, Lobotka, Zielinski
ATTACKERS: Insigne, Lozano, Mertens, Osimhen, Petagna, Politano
