Naples. The Carabinieri of the Vomero operational unit have arrested for possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing Salvatore Di Guida, 41 years old from Chiaiano already known to the police.
During a house search he was found in possession of 81 grams of cocaine, a stick of hashish and over 3mila euros in cash deemed to be illicit proceeds.
Part of the drug was hidden in a specially created drawer in the wall of the house. The only way to access it was a remote control that activated an electrical device and slid the drawer open.
The remaining part was in a trapdoor in the floor, accessible with a battery-operated mechanism. Di Guida is now in prison, awaiting trial.
