Naples, caught stealing in a bakery in Colli Aminei: 2 arrested

Naples. Yesterday evening the agents of the General Prevention Office, during the territorial control service, on the orders of the Operations Centre intervened in viale Colli Aminei for a report of theft to the detriment of a bakery.


The police officers, arriving on the scene, saw two men who, having left the business, quickly drove away on board a car and arrested them reached and blocked with no small difficulty; furthermore, thanks to the images of the system video surveillance inside and the descriptions provided by a passerby, have ascertained that, shortly before, the two, after having the shutter was broken into, had entered the business and had removed part of the collection.

A few minutes earlier, another patrol car had intervened in via Miano because they had reported that two men were trying to force the shutter of aanother bakery and, thanks to the viewing of images from the video surveillance system of an adjacent shop, the operators ascertained that they were the same criminals.


Mauro D'Aniello and Vincenzo Fiore, Neapolitans aged 31 and 33 with previous police records, were arrested for aggravated theft, attempted aggravated theft and resisting a public official; finally, the 33-year-old was charged with three violations of the Highway Code for driving with a revoked license, failure to have insurance coverage and failure to show registration documents while the vehicle was seized.
