Napoli also passed the Fiorentina test: Spalletti's team made it seven out of seven in Florence and beat the Viola 2-1 in a comeback. Lozano and Rrahmani scored, overturning Martinez Quarta's opening goal.
No dramatic changes in the starting eleven chosen by Luciano Spalletti: Ospina is in goal, the defense is composed of the returning Rrahmani alongside Koulibaly and the full-backs Di Lorenzo and Mario Rui. In midfield the usual Anguissa and Fabian Ruiz, the trident behind Osimhen is composed of Insigne, Zielinski and Lozano, who won the ballot over Politano.
Napoli's start was not the best: it was Italiano's Fiorentina who made the game, with the Azzurri (today in red) relying on Victor Osimhen's runs in the few counterattacks available.
The match still produced few chances in the first half hour, until the 28th minute, when the Viola scored the lead. Corner kick for Vlahovic, who with a volley finds Martinez Quarta: the centre-back kicks first and leaves no chance to Ospina. Spalletti's men are called to react: the most active, together with Osimhen, is Lozano, who at 33' warms up Dragowski's gloves.
At 38′ the action that leads to the equalizer: Fabian Ruiz launches long for Osimhen, overwhelmed in the area by Martinez Quarta. Penalty for Napoli: Insigne from the spot has his penalty saved by Dragowski, but the most reactive of all is Lozano, who scores on the rebound. It is the episode that closes the first half with the score at 1-1 at the Franchi.
Fiorentina started the second half strongly, but in the 50th minute it was Napoli who rejoiced. Free kick on the edge of the area, feint by Insigne and cross by Zielinski that found Rrahmani's head: ball in the corner and comeback completed, from 1-0 to 1-2.
The hosts feel the blow and the fatigue: the Azzurri grow and come close to the third goal several times thanks to the outbursts of Politano, close to 3-1 with a shot from outside, and Osimhen, who serves a great ball to Elmas who doesn't manage to shoot at an empty net. The rest is regular administration, with a few thrills but nothing more: the referee Sozza whistles after 4 minutes of added time, awarding the three points to Napoli.
The Azzurri have 21 points out of 21 in the standings: they have maintained their 4-point advantage over Inter and are now 5 points ahead of Milan, who will soon be playing against Atalanta.
