Napoli. Due to strong winds, a branch of a large tree broke and fell onto the terrace of a house in the Vomero district of Naples. There were no injuries, only damage. The apartment that was hit is on the second floor of a building overlooking Via Cimarosa, on the corner of Via Mattia Preti.
There were no people on the terrace at the time of the collapse. The branch, which was particularly thick, tore away the iron railing. Shortly after the collapse, the municipal police intervened and closed the road to traffic. Traffic immediately came to a standstill.
Meanwhile, alarm is growing in the area: residents, worried about several trees, deemed too tall and dangerous, are asking for immediate pruning.
