Naples, Piazza Giambattista Vico invaded by waste. The complaint documents a resident: “I'm desperate, no one intervenes”

Naples is increasingly a victim of illegal waste dumping. Piazza Giambattista Vico, for example, has become an open-air landfill where materials and waste of all kinds are dumped at all hours of the day and night.

The one who reported it was a citizen who documented the situation and turned to the Regional Councillor of Europa Verde Francesco Emilio Borrelli:

"Here they dump waste of all kinds at all hours. I'm talking about construction waste, bulky waste, paint, and many other things. I'm desperate, no one listens to me! Is it possible that we have to go on like this? The reports sent to Asia, the Mayor, the Prefecture, the Local Police have been useless."

"Very serious, we have filed a complaint because measures must be taken against uncivilized people and polluters. If the phenomenon continues to spread, it is clear that the measures adopted up to now have not been sufficient, so we believe it is appropriate and necessary to change strategy and be much more aggressive and finally hit hard those who reduce the city to a landfill."– commented Borrelli.
