Portici. Postepay cards, pins and cell phones: three men were ready to defraud unsuspecting customers, but were discovered and reported for computer fraud, embezzlement and credit card falsification.
Yesterday afternoon, officers from the Portici-Ercolano Police Station, in Corso Garibaldi in Portici, noticed two men who, outside a post office, were approached by a third person who had just left the office.
The three, at the sight of the patrol car, attempted to move away to evade the check but were stopped and found in possession of 4010 euros, 5 cell phones, 6 SIM cards, 8 magnetic cards which were blocked for "incorrect use" or for "suspected fraudulent phishing", 10 documents relating to postal PINs and Postepay Evolution cards whose provenance they were unable to justify.
LC, a 27-year-old from Portici, AA and EZ, Neapolitans aged 47 and 29, all with police records, were reported for computer fraud, embezzlement and use and forgery of credit or payment cards.
