In fact, as reported by citizens who were supposed to get vaccinated this morning, it was not possible to access the facility due to flooding.
A disheartening situation, as reported by the 5 Star Movement of Portici, especially considering that 564 thousand euros were recently spent on the renovation of the Palazzetto dello Sport.
“Just three years ago we spent over half a million euros to renovate this structure: now it is also used as a vaccination center, but evidently the redevelopment that took place in recent years is full of holes. – denounces the 5 Star Movement -. TheIn fact, a day of heavy rain made the Palazzetto dello Sport unusable and citizens were unable to get vaccinated. We are talking about dozens of citizens who had received the email with the time and day, but were sent home. According to what we have learned, these are young and old people who had shown up at the Palazzetto for the vaccine, but found the gates closed”.
The 5 Star Movement reiterates, asserting the gravity of the situation, that the municipal administration has once again shown serious shortcomings: "We wonder how it is possible that this administration is always lacking and inefficient, even on work already done. Three years later and with over half a million euros spent on redevelopment, we find ourselves with a structure unusable due to the rain. We cannot continue in this way, the time has come to give the citizens a say".
