Amazon Prime Video today unveiled the official trailer and poster for the Amazon Original series 'Maradona: 'Blessed Dream'.
The biopic series follows the legendary footballer's triumphs and challenges and will debut exclusively on October 29th. Amazon Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories worldwide. Maradona: Blessed Dream will follow this release schedule: October 29: Episodes 1-5; November 5: Episodes 6 and 7; November 12: Episode 8; November 19: Episode 9; November 26: Episode 10.
Maradona: Blessed Dream is interpreted by Nazareno Casero (History of a Clan), Juan Palomino (Magnificent 70) and Nicolas Goldschmidt (Supermax), who will play Diego Armando Maradona in the various stages of his life and his prolific career. From humble origins to Villa Fioritoin Argentina, his native country, to his groundbreaking career at Barcelona and then Napoli, the series will chronicle his key role in leading his national team to win the World Cup in Mexico in '86.
The series also features Juliet Cardinali (In Therapy, Valentin), Laura Esquivel (Feo sufferer), Mercedes moran (The Motorcycle Diaries, El Reino), Pepper Monje (Love in Custody), Peter Lanzani (El Clan, El Reino). The biographical series produced by BTF Media, in co-production with Dhana Media and Latin We, was filmed in Argentina, Spain, Italy, Uruguay and Mexico, and consists of 10 one-hour episodes that tell the key moments in the life and career of the legendary footballer.

Alexander Aimetta He is the showrunner of the series and director of the episodes filmed in Argentina, Mexico and Uruguay, and wrote the screenplay with Guillermo Salmerón (El Marginal) and Silvina Olschansky (El Marginal). Roger gual ed Edoardo De Angelis directed the episodes set in Spain and Italy, respectively. The executive producers are Francisco Cordero, Liliana Moyano, Mari Urdaneta, Ricardo Coeto and Luis Balaguer.
