Robbery in the villa of the head of Cardarelli: son and daughter-in-law held hostage

Caserta. Nightmare night for the family of the doctor Gaetano Romano head of Cardarelli.

During the night between Wednesday and Thursday in Villa di Briano a commando of bandits broke into the Romano family's home, taking in son and daughter-in-law held hostage of Dr. Gaetano Romano, esteemed doctor and head physician of the Cardarelli.

According to an initial reconstruction, four criminals managed to gain access to the house by climbing over the garden wall. However, to enter the house they had to break the window, waking up the couple.

At that point the couple was immobilized and tied up while the gang raided of everything of value he found in the house: money, clothes, hi-tech objects, watches and even a computer. In the fight one of the criminals was also injured. The investigations of the police they are focusing on the gangs of Eastern European bandits who have been terrorizing the province of Caserta for months.
