Salerno. “In relation to the ongoing investigation, we express full confidence in the action of the Judiciary. We calmly await the results of the investigation, which we hope will quickly shed full light on the contested facts”.
This is stated in a note by mayor of Salerno, Vincenzo Naples, regarding the investigation that sees him among the suspects.
Confirmed last Monday with 57% (supported by a center-left civic coalition), Napoli is under investigation for facts dating back to the previous Administration. A municipal manager and a former president of a company owned by the Authority are also implicated with him.
The investigations carried out by the Salerno Flying Squad and coordinated by the Salerno Public Prosecutor's Office, led to the issuing of ten precautionary measures, one of which affected the former councilor Nino Savastano.
