Aversa. On the evening of Saturday 9 October, the Police Forces carried out an inter-force control service in the city centre of Aversa, aimed at countering the commission of crimes and illegal conduct in relation to the phenomenon of weekend "movida", as well as ensuring compliance with the provisions established to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

The control device, coordinated by a State Police Officer, involved personnel from the State Police, the Carabinieri, the Guardia di Finanza and the Municipal Police, operating in their respective areas of competence. The preventive function, ensured by the uniformed crews of the Police Forces, was combined with the repressive activity carried out by the personnel of the Police Forces in civilian clothes, hidden among the customers.

During the targeted services, aimed at guaranteeing and protecting public order and safety, numerous checks were carried out, specifically, over 90 people were identified, 39 vehicles checked and violations of the highway code were reported, including 1 withdrawal of the registration document from a van used to transport minors to "movida" locations.

Furthermore, during the specific activity, 14 public establishments were checked, of which 2 were fined for staff not in compliance with labor regulations, 1 reported for serving alcoholic beverages to minors under 16 and for illegal occupation of public land, 1 fined for gathering inside the premises.

Furthermore, some commercial establishments of the “Norman nightlife” have been fined for failure to comply with the closing times established by current legislation and current regional/municipal ordinances.

During the aforementioned prevention and contrast activity, a person was reported for contempt pursuant to art. 341 bis, a minor under 17 years of age for illegal possession of weapons (knuckle dusters) pursuant to art. 699 of the criminal code.
