The Court of Cassation has confirmed the life sentence for the instigator and one of the killers of the murder of Gianluca Cimminiello, the tattoo artist killed on February 2, 2010.
The maximum sentence was given to the two secessionist bosses Archangel Fir e Raphael ApreaIn 2010 Gianluca posted a photo on social media in which he appeared to be tattooing the Napoli striker Ezequiel Lavezzi, but in reality it was just a photomontage. A rival tattoo artist, moved by jealousy, turned to the clan to give Gianluca a 'lesson'. Two people showed up at his shop, in Casavatore, to beat him up, but Cimminiello, reacting, managed to put them to flight. After a few days the 32-year-old found death. This time an armed person showed up at his shop, with the intent to kill, and unfortunately he did not fail.
Susy Cimminiello, Gianluca's sister who has always fought for legality and against the Camorra in Naples and its province, commented on the news as follows:
“Today, after 11 years and 8 trials, we are smiling, we can afford it.
Yes, because today, and especially for this sentence that condemns unworthy people who have spent their lives destroying lives without any repentance, I do not think that their life is over too because it is a fate that they themselves wanted by putting power, wealth and abuse first and condemning me and my family to a life sentence of pain.
But my biggest thanks goes to that man behind me with the black mask who met me 11 years ago, saw me cry, get sick, become a mother and a woman and never wanted to appear, he is one of my lawyers, and we love each other very much.
Thank you all for the public and private messages, now I'm going to hug my children."

“We express our gratitude to the judiciary and law enforcement for the valuable work carried out over all these years, which led first to the arrest and then to the conviction of those who committed a brutal crime against a young and honest worker. For our part, we have been close to the family of poor Gianluca since the immediate aftermath of the event. We have constituted ourselves as a civil party in the trial and have never left them alone. We address our most affectionate thoughts to them”.
