The headquarters where the organization's activities will be carried out has been officially delivered to the Youth Forum of Torre Annunziata.

The handover ceremony of the property was held last September 29th, in the municipal building in via Dante 6, with the handover of the keys and the signing of the transfer documents by the municipal administration for the duration of the current mandate.

"We are very confident in this new course of the Forum”, declared the councilor for Youth Policies of the Oplonti municipality, Luisa Refuto. "From the very beginning, the members have shown great civic sense and commitment to the territory. We hope that this other tool made available by the administration, which is a self-managed office, can give impetus to the activities of this fundamental body for the youth of Torre Annunziata".

Great satisfaction also in the words of the new coordinator of the Torre Forum, Matthias Russo: "This is a first big step for the Forum. Thanks to Councilor Refuto and Director Anaclerio for the great availability shown since the first day of the installation of the new body. Now all that remains is to roll up our sleeves and get to work for our Torre Annunziata. We hope to always continue a fruitful relationship of collaboration with this municipal administration and with the one that will be installed next year, a distinctive act of this new coordination that wants to make collaboration the strong point for all future initiatives".

Everything is ready, therefore, for the inauguration and opening of the headquarters to the city, which will take place soon. The structure will become a real "Youth House" open to all young people, where events, courses and demonstrations organized by the Forum will take place.

Napoli - This morning, the monumental courtyard of the Salvo D'Acquisto Barracks, headquarters of the Legion Carabinieri Campania, has become a place of reflection and recognition for the valor of the military, who, through their work, embody the commitment of law enforcement in fighting crime and supporting the community. In a sober yet emotional ceremony, Major General Canio Giuseppe La Gala recognized the region's Carabinieri for their courage, their humanity, and their often silent, yet always decisive, sacrifice.

The awards recognized a wide range of missions: from raids against Camorra clans, which targeted criminal organizations in various provinces of Campania, to rescues in emergency situations, to daily acts of support for the population. Among the honorees, Deputy Brigadier Giovanni Russo stands out, whose story moved those present, symbolizing the real risk the Carabinieri face every day. On December 6, 2024, during a security operation at a warehouse in San Giovanni a Teduccio, Russo climbed onto a roof suspected of hiding weapons. The skylight beneath his feet gave way, causing him to fall five meters. Seriously injured, he was rescued by colleagues and rushed to Ospedale del Mare, where he underwent delicate surgery, including reconstruction with an aortic endoprosthesis, and spent a long period in intensive care. Thanks to the prompt rescue and the teamwork between the Carabinieri, medical personnel, and healthcare workers, Russo survived, becoming an example of resilience and dedication.
