Tuesday 12 e Wednesday 13 October al Little Jester's Theatre of Salerno, will be staged “You killer music” for the review 'Here was Naples… here will be Naples'. The show directed by Uto Zhali continues to give voice and “color” to what was written by Manlio Santanelli.
“It is a funny and intelligent reflection on the obsessions of a society that feeds on stereotypes and clichés by asking questions that delve into the vacuous and the imaginative where models of life have become proverbs, or what people say.”, writes the director Uto Zhali in his notes.
The couple Eufemio and Alda Tiberi, he a bank manager and she a teacher, have an immoderate and pathological passion for music. However, they have not managed to obtain a subscription to the Association "Amici della Musica" in their city. The statute of the association in fact provides for a limited number of places and they are the first on the waiting list.
To be able to realize it they only have to hope for some resignation or a death. Ironically they live in a building where also live the cashier of the same bank and his wife who, having inherited the membership cards of the association, can freely attend all the concerts on Thursdays.
To complicate the life of the Tiberis there is also Dr. Donati, the doctor of the orchestra of the association chosen only to have information on the state of health of the subscribers. And so people who seem calm, in order to obtain that subscription, begin to harbor murderous intentions and to transform themselves into aspiring assassins in the style of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and Mrs. Tiberi into a ruthless Lady Macbeth.
