The assembly, promoted by Fim, Fiom and Uilm Naples, was necessary to inform all employees who are on the verge of dismissal about the last 48 hours of negotiations at Ministry of Economic Development.
“Workers are determined to continue the struggle, it will be a hot week,” explains Rosario Rappa, general secretary Fiom-Cgil Naples. “We appeal to the entire world of culture and entertainment to stand alongside this dispute – adds – next Tuesday, if the meeting with ministers Orlando and Giorgetti is confirmed, we will organize buses to Rome. The ruling of the court of Napoli on the appeal for anti-union conduct that we presented against the dismissals of the 320 workers. But the whole week will be marked by initiatives of struggle”.
The national coordination of Whirlpool is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon, in which the Neapolitan unions will propose initiatives to fight throughout the group. “We will continue until the dispute is resolved,” concludes Rappa.
