Attack on a bakery in Vasto: two people linked to local clans were arrested.
The attack took place last year in full lockdown. The Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Naples, at the end of investigative activity coordinated by the Neapolitan District Anti-Mafia Directorate, have executed the order implementing the precautionary measure of custody in prison issued by the GIP of the Court of Naples against Giuseppe Robustelli and Charles DiMartino.
The two are considered seriously suspected of the crimes of possession and carrying of explosives in a public place and damage, with the aggravating circumstance of the mafia method.
The investigation was born following the damage to the commercial activity called “Marigliano Bread Treats”, located at number 77 of Via Ferrara, in Naples, which occurred at 03:30 on 20.04.2020/XNUMX/XNUMX, following the detonation of a rudimentary explosive device placed in the aforementioned establishment.

Viewing the images extracted from the various video surveillance systems present in the area made it possible to identify the car used by the perpetrators of the crime and reconstruct the entire route taken both to get to the vicinity of the bakery and to leave the site of the attack.
The occupants were also identified thanks to the fact that, a few hours earlier, they had been checked and fined for failure to comply with the anti covid regulations in the municipality of Pomigliano D'Arco while they were traveling together on board the car filmed by the video surveillance systems.
