Stored next to flammable material, or without the original packaging, without indications of origin or handcrafted, more than one hundred thousand fireworks intended for the New Year's Eve celebrations were seized by the Guardia di Finanza of the provincial command of Avellino in three commercial establishments in the Irpinia capital.
Over 500 kilograms of material was stored without the necessary safety measures. In some cases, the fires were placed next to perfume bottles or printer cartridges.
The three owners of the commercial establishments were also charged with illegal possession of explosive material, together with the seizure.
