The D'Alessandro Clan managed the ambulance service and in particular the transport of the sick and the market for the supply of fish products by making supplies at a higher price and without the possibility of return.
This morning, in Castellammare di Stabia and other locations, the Carabinieri of the Company of Castellammare di Stabia and the Investigative Unit of Torre Annunziata have executed a preventive seizure order issued by the GIP of Court of Naples, at the request of the local District Anti-Mafia Directorate, of the entire corporate complex and of the shares of the share capital of three companies dealing with fish trade and an ambulance services company, for a total estimated value of approximately 4 million euros.
The complex of investigative activities, carried out by the Carabinieri of the Operative and Radiomobile Nucleus of the Castellammare di Stabia Company and the Investigative Nucleus of Torre Annunziata and coordinated by the District Anti-Mafia Directorate of Naples, has allowed the acquisition of serious circumstantial evidence regarding the monopolistic management of the D'Alessandro clan, starting from 2011, of the transport of the sick in the territory of Castellammare di Stabia and of the wholesale supply of fish products to entrepreneurs in the sector of the Stabia area.
Specifically, evidence has been acquired that the 43-year-old By Alessandro Michele and the 48-year-old Rossetti Antonio, top members of the clan, would have fictitiously registered a company in their name transport of the sick to a front man, with the purpose of operating an ambulance which was supposedly secretly purchased by Rossetti himself, to whom the entire economic activity and acquisition of the related profits should be traced back.
Equally serious evidence has been acquired in relation to the fish market, according to which leading members of the D'Alessandro clan, after having fictitiously registered some fish and seafood trading companies in the name of third parties, are said to have assumed, through violent conduct, a position of unchallenged leadership, through imposition on fishmongers and to entrepreneurs in the sector of supplies at increased prices and without the possibility of return not only of fish products, but also of sea water, often taken from polluted bodies of water.
Serious evidence has been acquired regarding the use in these commercial activities of capital deriving from drug trafficking and extortion activities in the area, as well as the transfer of large sums of cash to the Greece, where the companies controlled by the criminal gang obtained supplies of fish products.
