The party “Libertà giustizia Repubblica” aims to lead the world of the moderate center-right, guiding it on three main axes: the reopening of a constituent phase to write a new Constitution, as in 46; the direct election of the Prime Minister, with a two-round system; and the abolition of the Regions, replacing them with 100 metropolitan areas, each inhabited by 600.000 citizens.
A new political entity is arriving in the Italian center-right, which wants to restore centrality to politics, also against dangerously justiciar drifts. As we learn from the manifesto with the iconic title “Wake up Italy”, “Freedom Justice Republic” is a political party of liberal democratic and social inspiration. The movement was born from the idea of rebuilding Italy through the teaching of the great tradition of the first republic, vivified and renewed in the analysis of the evolution of technological and global society.

Libertà, Giustizia, Repubblica wants to put back into the hands of citizens the choice of who will govern them and how.
The challenge – as can be read on the main page of the website – is to return the dignity of a people into the hands of the community of citizens, since it has been taken away from them, giving them back the sovereign choice about the direction of their being and their becoming.

Since 2011, democracy in Italy has taken on the appearance of a farce, it has formal legitimacy but no substantial content.

The program is clear and published, it includes 20 particularly clear and bold points, visionary if you like, but concrete. It is desirable - it reads - the immediate opening of a new "Constituent Phase" with the election of a new national assembly aimed at the promulgation of a new constitution.

At point 18, the program proposes the introduction of the constitutional principle of the election of the parliamentarian through personal preferential choice, without prejudice to the ordinary legislation on the electoral system, the election of the Prime Minister by citizens in a two-round vote, and the latter's full freedom in choosing his Cabinet, without the need for a vote of confidence in the event of a cabinet reshuffle.

With reference to the administrative organization, point 17 instead speaks of the abolition of the Regions and the simultaneous constitution of the Metropolitan Areas. The mayors would thus have real powers and control, each, of a community of 600.000 citizens. Via municipalities, mountain communities, Special Statute Region. 100 mayors and a Government. The parliament to legislate and, if necessary, to vote no confidence in the Executive.

Tirelli says: “when the car gets old, there’s no point in changing the parts, at a certain point it needs to be replaced, even if it was a really nice car”.
Of great interest is point 5 which calls for a restructuring of the national industry in the field of goods production, with the reinstatement of permanent employment contracts as the typical form of employment relationship.

Renewed interest in regulating the legislative division between investment and credit banks, and regaining control of national monetary policy. To put it simply: Europe yes, Euro no. Stable and secure work is the social basis needed to organize the “life project” without that sense of economic precariousness that has always afflicted the existence of contemporary man.

Political secretary Alexandro Maria Tirelli, known in the news as a criminal lawyer expert in international law, says he wants to start over from life, start over from simple but concrete projects. “We need to create a new ruling class, to bring politics to the center of the debate and put it in a position to communicate with the people, we need to sweep away charlatans, dwarfs and dancers from parliament and political talk shows. And give space back to culture, knowledge, competence. There is no social justice and progress without meritocracy”.
