Luca Piscopo dies at 15 after eating sushi: the prosecutor's office of Naples he has entered in the register of suspects with the accusation of manslaughter the owner of an ethnic restaurant in Vomero and also his doctor.
It's the sad story of Luke Piscopo, model student of the Pansini High School, a huge Napoli fan (the blue supporters even dedicated a banner to him outside the San Paolo), who died last week. His story is told by Il Mattino, which also retraces the stages of the story.
On November 23rd he had been having lunch with some friends in a ethnic restaurant of the Vomero. They had eaten sushi. A few hours later he complained of vomiting, diarrhea and high fever. The doctor had prescribed him drugs against a possible form of viral infection. But his health situation worsened so much that on December 2nd Luca died.
The family turned to theAttorney Marianna Borrelli, who filed a complaint and obtained an autopsy on the body of the unfortunate boy. The Naples Public Prosecutor's Office has opened an investigation file entrusted to the PMs Federica D'Amodio and Luigi Landolfi. The investigation, pending the full results of the autopsy (the boy's funeral took place last Saturday), aims to discover whether there are any with the food eaten in the ethnic restaurant.
But also the drugs that the doctor prescribed to Luca. Or the boy suffered from other pathologies unknown to the family (which runs a jewelry in Soccavo). Only the results of the autopsy will be able to clarify the causes of what at the moment appears to be an inexplicable death.
