Visits to patients hospitalized at the San Giuseppe Moscati Hospital in Avellino have been suspended from today until January 8th. This measure was necessary due to the significant increase in new COVID-19 cases in the Campania region and the province of Avellino.
“The ban on access to external users – explains the health director of the Moscati Hospital, Rosario Lanzetta – was issued for all operating units, taking into account that the Sars-CoV-2 disease is mostly manifesting itself without or with mild symptoms and that, therefore, access to the hospital with the sole presentation of the green pass does not guarantee total safety for hospitalized patients and also for healthcare workers”.
Relatives of patients will be able to inquire about the health status of hospitalized patients by calling the numbers and during the time slots indicated on a list published on the home page of the Company's website, which is currently being updated.
