Grumo Nevano. The hunt for Elpidio D'Ambra, the 31-year-old murderer of 24-year-old Rosa Alfieri, continues.
The Carabinieri visited all his relatives and acquaintances but at the moment there is no trace of the murderer of Grumo Nevano. The Carabinieri of the Giugliano company, supported by all the branches of the Northern province of Naples, have been busy looking for traces of that man suspected of the murder of the girl, suffocated with a rag or perhaps strangled.
Rosa was in fact found by her father Vittorio, with a dishcloth in her mouth. Her clothes were not in place. Killed because, most likely, she rebelled against an attempted rape.
It was the father who rented the ground floor apartment of the family building to Elpidio D'Ambra. Just two weeks ago the man had introduced himself as a separated husband looking for a modest place to live.
According to the investigations, at 17.30:XNUMX pm yesterday, Rosa, who was helping her father with the accounting and her boyfriend in the family tobacco shop, parked the car. She crossed the entrance to the building and that's where Elpidio allegedly jumped. It is not yet certain whether the girl was lured into a trap or dragged. The fact is that she was taken to the bathroom and killed.

It was the father Vittorio, alerted by his wife who did not see his daughter return home even though the car was parked in the courtyard of the building, who knocked on the door of the new tenant, asking for his daughter. He very lucidly said he had not seen her. Only two hours later, when he had already escaped and his daughter was dead, he broke down the door with his shoulders and found his daughter's lifeless body.
