Friday 25 March at 21.00 pm debuts at the Nuovo Teatro Sanità, Red code, written and directed by Nicola Le Donne and Francesco A. Nappi, starring Rosaria De Cicco and Ciro Esposito.
The show, which uses music by Giusy Caliendo and choreographic movements by Juna Colurci, takes its name from law no. 69 of 19 July 2019 against gender violence. On stage are stories of abused women who found the courage to report.
Built on a succession of theatrical shorts, the show sheds light on different forms of violence (psychological, physical, economic and work-related) suffered by women and on the way in which these are experienced and processed by victims and executioners.

The only actress on stage, Rosaria De Cicco gives body and voice to various women's stories and dramas; at her side, Ciro Esposito gives face to the executioners. The scene always stops a moment before the violent act, finding poetic fulfillment in the dance steps of a ballerina, who is entrusted with the task of transmitting the turmoil, suffering and contrasting emotions felt by the victims. The last story of the play, inspired by very current news stories, describes the torment experienced by a young woman subjected to revenge porn, who sees suicide as the only way out of the drama she has experienced.
