Eboli, cocaine hidden in a 'smart shop': 45-year-old arrested after being found in possession of 21 grams of cocaine.
The Guardia di Finanza of Salerno arrested a 45-year-old from Eboli found in possession of 21 grams of cocaine, hidden inside the premises of a smart shop, a retail store specializing in the sale of legal psychoactive substances.
The intervention of the Fiamme Gialle of the Eboli Company took place during a service aimed at preventing and repressing drug dealing, during which a dealer of smart drugs was checked, a category of narcotic and psychoactive substances that are not considered illegal because they have a low content of active ingredient and can therefore be freely placed on the market.

What aroused the suspicions of the financial police who were guarding the premises while waiting for the afternoon opening was the fact that the shop had remained closed for the entire afternoon, even though it was a normal day of opening to the public.
The searches were then carried out, with the help of the anti-drug canine units of the Salerno Group, first at the home of the owner of the business and then at the commercial establishment, inside which 19 packages of cocaine were found, hidden behind an advertising sign placed inside the premises.
The drugs were seized and the person responsible was placed under house arrest by order of the Salerno Prosecutor's Office. The Salerno Court then validated the measure, ordering the obligation to reside in Eboli, for the hypothesis of drug dealing.
