Eight convictions against as many Carabinieri accused of having carried out cover-ups after the death of Stefano Cucchi.

The judge of the single-judge court sentenced, among others, 5 years to the general Alessandro Casarsa and 1 year and 3 months to the colonel Lorenzo Sabatino. Depending on their positions, the defendants are charged with the crimes of falsehood, aiding and abetting, failure to report and slander.
