Covid Procurement, ASL Napoli Manager Does Not Respond to PM. The Cycle of Questioning in the Prosecutor's Office, Started on May 18, Has Been Concluded
The manager of ASL Napoli 1 Centro Ciro Verdoliva, investigated by the Naples Public Prosecutor's Office (deputy prosecutors Antonello Ardituro, Mariella De Mauro, Simone De Roxas and Henry John Woodcock) as part of the investigation that concerns, among other things, the modular hospitals built in the midst of the health crisis to deal with the pandemic emergency in Naples, Caserta and Salerno, availed himself of the right to remain silent.
Today marked the end of the cycle of interrogations that began on May 18, after the notification of the summons to appear by the prosecutors sent to 23 people. The investigation by the Naples investigating office is divided into three strands: the one concerning modular hospitals; the one for the supply of masks for children, and, finally, a series of alleged misappropriations of swabs and masks by healthcare personnel.
Few of the suspects decided to answer the investigators' questions during these nine days (between May 18 and 27).
