Latina, 'punctured wheel' gang, 5 Neapolitans reported by the operational and radiomobile unit of the Carabinieri of Formia
Five people from Naples have been reported by the Carabinieri's Operational and Radiomobile Unit of Formia, in the province of Latina, together with colleagues from the Scauri di Minturno and Itri stations for having committed a series of thefts, at least 4, using the 'flat tire' method in various municipalities in the southern Pontine area.
They used rental cars registered to other people and stole their victims' purses from the cars while they were busy changing the tire on their own cars that had been punctured by the gang.
Those reported to the Cassino Prosecutor's Office, all 50-60 years old, allegedly committed the crimes between April and September 2021, stealing small sums for a total of one thousand euros.
