The charm and suggestions of jazz return to enliven the evenings of Maddalonese. On Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 May, the first edition of “Calatia Jazz – Città di Maddaloni” will take place in the internal courtyard of the Villaggio dei Ragazzi in Maddaloni.
The musical event was conceived, organized and promoted by the socio-cultural associations “Alberto Tixon” and “Maddaloni Donna – Oriana Fallaci”, while the artistic direction was entrusted to Elio Salanti, already organizer of jazz events in Maddaloni in the early 2000s. The musical event focuses on two evening events.
Saturday May 28:
– 19:00 pm Opening of the event and preview with Cecilia and Lorenzo Caustica”
– 20:00 pm Performance of “Ferdinando Ghiselli and his Quintet”
29 Sunday of May:
– 19:00 pm Preview
– 20:00 pm “Flo Quartet G29” performance
On Saturday and Sunday, there will also be performances by local bands in some districts and areas of the city. During the event, there will also be space for pictorial art with the exhibition of some works by the Maddalonese painter Rosa De Rosa.
The event received the patronage of the Municipality of Maddaloni and found the support of some local businesses such as “Agenzia Generali Assicurazioni” of Maddaloni, the “Conad” supermarket, the optician Giacinto Lombardi, the “L'Antica Cittadella” pastry shop, and the “Aulicino-Lanzano” clothing store.
