The former Prime Minister and Secretary of the DC, Ciriaco De Mita, died this morning at 7 in his home in Nusco, in the province of Avellino, city of which he was mayor.
The deputy mayor made it known, Walter Vigilante. De Mita had undergone surgery last February for a fractured femur following a fall at home.
According to what was learned later, De Mita died in the nursing home Villa of the Pines of Avellino and not in his home in Nusco. De Mita was undergoing rehabilitation after a fractured femur in a fall last February.
