Campania. Tragedy narrowly avoided last night along the provincial road that connects the lower Matese area with the Vairanese area, then with the Casilina state road
A car with an entire family on board including two children collided with a wild boar saved by the low speed. The accident occurred in the municipality of Pietravairano, shortly after the bridge that spans the Volturno river. An entire family from Capua was involved who was traveling to return home after a day spent on the Matese massif.
Suddenly a boar came out of the ditch cutting off the car. The impact was inevitable and the airbags opened. Luckily the low speed avoided any consequences for the vehicle's occupants. No injuries, just a lot of fear, especially for the two children on board.
