Last night, officers from the Castellammare Police Station carried out a check at an abandoned farmhouse on Via Napoli, on the northern outskirts of the city.
Inside two iron boxes, they found a Luger M.90 cal. 9 pistol, 91 GFL cal. 9×19 cartridges, 6 packages containing 87 grams of marijuana, a bag with 45 grams of hashish, a cutter and various material for packaging drugs. All the material was seized.
The gun was sent to forensic scientists to determine whether it had been used in recent crimes. Footage from public and private security cameras in the area was also analyzed to find evidence that could help identify the occupant of the farmhouse.
