Four high schools in the area between Castellammare di Stabia and Torre Annunziata participated in the first edition of the Music Competition “Nadio De Rosa”.

“Naming the 2022 Edition of the Music Competition after Nadio De Rosa responds to an “identity” need of the “Garden Club Stabiae” which bears in its DNA the imprint of our dear Friend kidnapped from us by Covid.
It was Nadio who conceived and planned the birth of the Glorioso Garden Club in Castellammare, our city that He loved with the overwhelming enthusiasm, the ideal tension, the nobility of spirit, the boundless generosity that constituted the hallmark of His life.
The development of the city, the education of the younger generations in the positive values that are essential to be able to concretely support any serious hope of rebirth, the mobilization of the healthy part of the civil society of Stabia, until now not sufficiently reactive to the many wounds inflicted on this territory of incomparable beauty, a treasure chest of inestimable historical, archaeological, thermal and landscape heritage, have been the true reasons for living of Nadio De Rosa and constitute the guiding star of the "Garden Club Stabiae" to be able to worthily continue its work, gather its ideal momentum and give a non-unrealistic but operational contribution to the resurrection of Castellammare di Stabia, faithful to its motto "Post fata resurgo. Gigi Riello".
