There are 29.875 new cases Covid registered in Italy in the last 24 hours, compared to 9.820 yesterday but above all to 44.489 infections last Tuesday, confirming a constantly decreasing weekly trend. Even if today's data is missing Emilia Romagna, which due to a computer update did not communicate today's numbers.
The swabs processed are 269.971 (yesterday 93.813) with the positivity rate rising from 10,5% to 11,1%. The deaths are 95 (yesterday 80). The total victims since the beginning of the pandemic rise to 166.127. Hospitalizations are still decreasing: patients in intensive care are 1 less (like yesterday), with 29 daily admissions, and are 290 in total, while in the ordinary wards there are 131 fewer (yesterday -12), 6.257 in total.

The region with the highest number of cases today is Lombardy with 4.330 infections, followed by Campania (+3.505), Lazio (+3.337), Sicily (+2.957) and Veneto (+2.448). The total cases since the beginning of the pandemic reach 17.288.287. The discharged/recovered in the last 24 hours are 21.327 (yesterday 27.490) for a total that rises to 16.310.440. The currently positive are 21.327 fewer (yesterday -17.579) for a total that drops to 811.720. Of these, 805.173 are in home isolation.
