Ischia. Former senator and shipowner Salvatore Lauro will appear before a criminal judge on charges of financial misconduct.
Lauro, 71 years old, is accused together with his sister Annamaria and his wife Milena DiPierri and to the daughters Maria Celeste and Maria Sole for criminal offences that were allegedly committed between 2010 and 2018 and which concern the companies Alilauro and Lauro.it and which are the subject of a complaint filed by the sister of the former Forza Italia senator, Rosaria.
According to the prosecution, the four defendants caused damage to the Alilauro of over 4 million euros for rent of a branch of the company without economic convenience, omitted invoicing and service contracts between the two companies of dubious convenience.
The five defendants will have to appear before the Judge Dario Gallo, of the Court of Naples, next October 4th.
