Kevin Love, the famous artist and tattoo artist from Lugano, after having demonstrated his ability in the rap-game in “1000 Sbatti” (feat. Papi Trujillo), returns to the radio and digital stores with “Collane d'Oro”.
The song, in addition to highlighting a new nuance of his creative universe, supports and sustains “Progetto Amore 2022”, the illustrious charity event conceived in 2009 and sponsored by the Municipality of Mendrisio.
Cradled by an enchanting sound interweaving capable of transposing sweetness and ardent desire for revenge into dreamy music, the song is a dive into the ocean of the past, a journey of bars and emotions that, retracing the personal and professional stages of Kevin himself, invites the listener to pursue their own goals, indulging in their own inclinations and attitudes, without giving space and time to doubts, fears, hesitations and perplexities that, very often, come between the heart and the goal, preventing us from realizing ourselves in our totality.
Through the analogy with the jewelry worn by rappers, Kevin Love undermines the status symbol, focusing on the value hidden behind the ephemeral pleasure given by the material, highlighting how an object must be only and exclusively a symbol, the tangible proof of an obstacle course whose destination is not the object itself, the jewel in this case, but what it represents for the wearer.
A one-way journey to the pulsating core of what we are, an inner crossing guided by the lighthouse of dreams, in which no changes or turning points are allowed, because the heart, knowing the destination, always knows where to lead us, even when reason, conditioning and external influences cloud the path.
“Collane d'Oro”, the second release of Kevin Love's new artistic chapter, will be presented live on May 28th and 29th at the Centro Manifestazioni Mercato Coperto in Mendrisio, during the annual edition of “Progetto Amore”, a festival organized by Paolo Meneguzzi that will see big names in Italian music take turns on stage, from Gue' Pequeno to Kolors, passing through Vegas Jones, Giaime, Mattak & Funky Nano and many others, the proceeds of which will go to support the Ukrainian populations affected by the war.
