Mario Paciolla, appello dei genitori a Draghi: ‘Vogliamo la verità’. Con loro anche il senatore Ruotolo.
The parents of Mario Paciolla, the UN aid worker who died two years ago in Colombia, are making an appeal to the Prime Minister, Mario Draghi, and to the Foreign Minister, Luigi Di Maio.
An appeal, also made by Senator Sandro Ruotolo, so that the truth about this affair is known and justice is done.
“Truth and justice. Almost two years after the death of Mario Paciolla, a UN aid worker, his parents from their town of Frattamaggiore, a town in the Naples area, where he is buried, are asking the institutions to act quickly – writes Ruotolo in a note -. It is true that these are long investigations, made even more complicated by the fact that the death occurred in San Vicente del Caguan, Colombia.
For this reason, together with them, we turn to the Government and in particular to the Prime Minister Draghi, to the Foreign Minister Di Maio so that after 22 months, a page of truth is written about Mario Paciolla, a Righteous man who believed in peace and worked to build it".
“Today, in his memory, a cork oak was planted in the Path of the Righteous of the Biodiverse Garden of the Scientific-Linguistic High School 'Carlo Miranda' in Frattamaggiore”, underlines Ruotolo who today participated in the inauguration of the Path of the Righteous of the Biodiverse Garden of the Scientific-Linguistic High School 'Carlo Miranda' of Frattamaggiore.
