Naples, at the Maria Cristina di Savoia school canteen raw chicken and dirty salad: children refuse to eat
The school canteen alarm has gone off again. This time the school canteen service at the Maria Cristina di Savoia nursery and primary school in Naples has come under scrutiny.
Some parents of the students have contacted the Regional Councilor of Europa Verde Francesco Emilio Borrelli to report the fact that the meals do not respect the hygiene and health standards.
“This is today’s meal that arrived at Maria Cristina di Savoia Nursery and Primary School. Raw chicken and unwashed salad for the little kids! Even the kids themselves refused to eat. You might think that these are my daughter’s favorite foods but she preferred to fast.”– says one of the parents.
“We have alerted the ASL, which will have to carry out thorough checks on the companies that provide the canteen service in the school in question and understand if there have been alarms in other schools as well. The checks will have to be extensive, starting from the companies and arriving at the individual schools where the meals are served. These things are not something to joke about. We are waiting for updates on the case.”– declared Councilor Borrelli.
