From Friday 27 May it will be available on the radio and on all digital platforms “Butterflyand” (Romantico Ribelle/Universal Music), the unreleased single by Michael Merlo.
A handful of days before his passing, Michele is in Modena at Take Away Studios with Daddo, Riky and Fra. Due to the stop caused by the “pandemic” he needs to talk to them to try to line up all the ideas that remained “between the lines of his soul” and ready to “break free like butterflies”.
There are many things to say and the song that brings them all together is precisely “Farfalle”. A song that strikes and convinces everyone for its great expressive power and the deep meaning of the text that tells the thousand facets of Michele's soul, an angry dreamer, in short, a Romantic Rebel.
In fact, “Farfalle” contains both the awareness of being a “fragile” soul and the desire for revenge against that “system” that, with the aggravating factor of the pandemic, had day after day “forgotten” him a little and had made him land too abruptly.
Here, all this is “Farfalle” that the Associazione Romantico Ribelle, Universal Music, Senza Dubbi and Take Away Studios have decided to give to all those who wanted and will always love Michele.
Exactly one year after Michele's premature death, on Monday 6 June at 20.30:2 pm, at the Stadio Comunale di Rosà (Vicenza), a football match will also be held between Play2Give, a new sustainable charity project, and the solidarity association Romantico Ribelle. PlayXNUMXgive, immediately made itself available to field its team with a project shared with the Municipality of Rosà, in collaboration with the Italian National Singers and La Partita del Cuore Onlus.
The event, which boasts the Patronage of the Veneto Region, was conceived together with Michele Merlo's family and will serve to disseminate the institutional objectives of the Romantico Ribelle Association created to remember the young singer-songwriter.
