The complaint comes from a citizen who contacted the Regional Councilor of Europe Francesco Emilio Borrelli, who was sent photographic documentation of the situation.
"We filed a complaint with the Port Authority and asked Arpac to carry out checks. This situation once again demonstrates the high level of incivility and lack of respect for the environment in our society. We need a change of direction that can only be directed by the Institutions. We also exposed the problem to the mayor of Monte di Procida, Peppe Pugliese, who told us that what we see is the result of the latest storm and that a clean-up of the sea is already planned with the Civil Protection and divers, while the beach has already been cleaned." - declared Borrelli.
