Napoli. In recent days, requests for the execution of release orders are increasing more and more. It is estimated that in the metropolitan area of Naples alone, approximately 7000 evictions are being carried out, while the total execution of release orders is estimated at over 15.000.
The prefecture of Napoli has, for some time, invited the social organizations of the
property and tenant as well as the institutions (Municipalities, Region) for the
signing a memorandum of understanding to manage the dramatic problem of evictions which, in the coming months, will see hundreds of families end up on the streets without any alternative.
Unfortunately, to date, this protocol has not yet been signed, unlike
of other realities (see Bologna, Florence) which, despite having fewer problems than
Neapolitan reality, have already given life to the memoranda of understanding, the purpose of which is to avoid thousands of evictions being carried out without any alternative housing possibility for families with serious social hardship.
In the Neapolitan reality there is a disconcerting underestimation of the serious housing emergency which, among other things, sees the complete absence of the Municipality of Naples, which has not taken any initiative to deal with the serious phenomenon of evictions. SUNIA, SICET, UNIAT, ASSOCASA
