Napoli. The Campania Regional Administrative Court rejected the appeal filed by “Giano”, the concessionaire of the Collana stadium, against the regional provision that ordered the company to revoke its concession and to release the Vomero sports facility, pending a final decision by the Council of State.
The facility returns to the full availability of the Campania Region through the regional agency for sport. “We are satisfied – says in a note the Regional Councilor Pasquale Di Fenza, who this morning, on the occasion of the demonstration for peace organized by the V Municipality, visited the facility together with the Councilors of the neighborhood Pasquale Torino, Rino Nasti and Fabiana Felicita'.
“This public asset returns to the hands of the Region, the failures of the company that managed the facility have also been detected by the Regional Administrative Court and with this provision – states Di Fenza – we can prepare the documents to resume management of the facility allowing the many sports organizations present in the Vomero and Posillipo area to use the Stadium for the next sports season.
During the inspection there was a fruitful dialogue with the President of the V Municipality Clementina Cozzolino, who could act as a link with the Region by managing the structure after the possible renovation of the spaces. Young people need meeting points that are currently lacking, it is the task of the institutions to create them and on our part we ensure all possible commitment to fill this gap. I met with Councilor Lucia Fortini and together with the many professors and teachers of the schools who took part in the event, we shared a beautiful institutional moment”, concludes Di Fenza.
