In Ottaviano, the Carabinieri of the Torre Annunziata company's mobile radio section arrested Vincenzo Migliazza, a 30-year-old from San Giuseppe Vesuviano already known to the police, for attempted aggravated theft and damage.
The man was the protagonist of an incredible attempted theft. In fact, Migliazza, in front of incredulous passers-by and customers, was trying to take possession of the cash register located in the Esso “self-service” facility on Via Roma.
Someone alerted the Carabinieri who in a few minutes arrived on the scene and put the handcuffs on the burglar's wrists. Vincenzo Migliazza is under arrest and awaiting trial.
