Castellammare. The gunman of Piazza Giovanni XXIII or rather the failed killer could have his hours numbered.
The images of city video surveillance cameras, those of private structures located in the city center and the testimonies are helping investigators in the search for those responsible.
The shooting took place at around 22.30pm in Piazza Giovanni XXIII a few steps from Farnese Palace. The lone killer suddenly appeared on a scooter and with a gun in his hand he started shooting repeatedly at a small group of people. The victim of the ambush is a 23-year-old girl from the old town, wounded in the lower limbs by one of the four shots fired.
There was a general stampede: the 23-year-old was transported to thehospital, but after a long time waiting for the ambulance to arrive stuck in the traffic of the Stabia nightlife.
The officers are investigating the case police station of Castellammare. The hunt for the hitman has therefore begun. The girl may have intervened between the crazy gunman and the real target of the ambush, who was supposed to be her boyfriend. But the capture of the gunman it could be a matter of hours.
